A Monday update for this beautiful Spring day…

Our house church plot in the community garden is ready to go! Thanks for everyone who helped prepare the garden on Saturday. We will begin planting soon, so please email Lindsay at lindsrevae@gmail.com if you’d like to help tend our garden.

Here is a picture of Lindsay with our community plot!

We had a beautiful discussion yesterday evening surrounding the cross. I mentioned I would share the blog of Nadia Bolz-Weber, who initiated our discussion. Check it out here… Sarcastic Lutheran.

Also, since we had such a lively discussion around the cross and our garden, we didn’t have time to dive into the END IT movement and talk about ways we can help end modern-day slavery around the globe. Please check out enditmovement.com and learn more about the 27 million people who are enslaved and ways we can take action for abolition. I’m a huge fan of the abolition work done through LOVE146, which is an organization that works to restore and heal young girls who have been held captive as sex slaves. Please learn more about their work in helping to mend God’s beloved children.
